Lotus, one of Georgia’s leading aesthetic medical centers, is embarking on an exciting journey this year with plans for expansion, new services, and a certification process.

Director of Lotus, Tea Ebralidze, told Golden Brand the center underwent “significant changes” last year, while 2024 began with “more enthusiasm”.

Based in Tbilisi, Lotus specializes in market-leading laser treatments, invasive and non-invasive cosmetic procedures, body treatments, and even cosmetic surgery.

Ebralidze said these products have seen increasing demand over the last few years, both in Georgia and internationally. Lotus has built a strong brand identity and has recently been recognized as the favorite aesthetics medical center in the country.

Q. In the category ‘favorite aesthetics medical center’ Lotus has won the Golden Brand award. What does this recognition mean to you?

A. I felt a great sense of joy, pride, and responsibility when I first heard about it. I am extremely proud of our team, and this news serves as a strong motivation for all of us to work towards another successful year with renewed vigor.

Q. What are the main things that garnered Lotus the award, in your opinion?

A. The company has been operating in Georgia for 14 years and always strives to offer its customers the latest advancements in the field of aesthetics. It continually updates its methods and techniques to stay ahead of the game.

The past year was especially important for the company as it saw significant changes, such as the renewal of the main team and the addition of new services. I believe that customers have noticed and appreciated these changes, which makes me incredibly happy.

Q. Could you please share more developments from 2023?

A. 2023 comes to mind especially in terms of educational methodologies. Our aesthetic school has reached a new level of excellence. We have been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 quality certificate and have been recognized as the best ‘Aesthetics School’ and ‘Laser Learning School’ in the country several times.

We will continue to innovate and progress in 2024, and will introduce these advancements to our loyal customers.

Q. How would you evaluate the dynamic of the company’s 14-year development?

A. Lotus was founded in 2010. Over the past 14 years, the company has consistently maintained a high level of performance, despite facing numerous challenges and periods of crisis.

I am pleased to say that we have successfully navigated these challenging stages. Lotus is not just a small organization consisting of one or two individuals, but rather a complete system backed by a highly skilled team of professionals who work tirelessly to ensure our success.

Q. The role of technology in aesthetic medicine is increasing. How does Lotus keep up with the latest trends in top clinics around the world, and what technology have you implemented?

A. I believe that the clinic has made a significant contribution to the development of the field in Georgia.

One way is that we attend almost all local and international exhibitions, which allows us to stay updated in the latest news in our field. I think that staying informed is crucial to personal and professional growth.

I remember a period when certain advanced beauty treatments, such as laser hair growth and co2 fractional laser treatments, were only available at Lotus in our country. These procedures were exclusive to our salon. However, the market has since grown, and a wide range of devices and treatments are now available.

Consequently, our focus has shifted from solely offering hardware and devices to emphasizing the importance of skilled professionals who operate these devices. Our years of experience have shown us that professionalism remains the key to success in this industry.

We have overcome many difficulties and are currently focusing on developing innovative methods to introduce to you in the future.

Q. Which of the various services offered by Lotus is currently in highest demand?

A. While injectable cosmetology is a popular option, methods for removing unwanted hair, such as alexandrite laser, diode epilation (using 3- and 4-beam techniques), and tattoo bleaching through laser treatment, remain in demand.

I remember the first few years when many consumers didn’t even understand the concept of “aesthetic medicine” and were afraid of simple procedures like facial cleansing. The patients were vastly different back then compared to now due to increased awareness of the field, which has led to an increase in interest and demand. It is also pleasing to note that the maximum age of patients has increased significantly, with the age limit now being much wider than the 40-42 age group years ago.

Q. You introduced a new service this year for vaginal rejuvenation using high-frequency ultrasound. Do you anticipate significant interest and demand for this service?

A. When we started, the focus was mainly on facial procedures, as the interest in body care was still emerging in the country. As consumer demand evolved, we had to adapt and expand our services to meet their needs.

Gynecological aesthetics is one of the areas that has gained relevance, especially among women facing postpartum or age-related complications. These issues include urinary incontinence, which can be involuntary and cause discomfort to those affected.

In general, this area represents our team’s 2024 plan. We will inform you of the results at the end of the year!
